Our Story
Joyce Paton has been bringing imaginative, considered fashion to life for over two decades. Best known for her sculptural, award-winning millinery — and equally recognised for her distinctive clothing designs — Joyce spent the first part of her career creating bold, confident pieces that celebrated shape, structure and individuality.
She opened her first boutique in 2004, selling her own collections and supplying independent stores across the UK. In 2014, Joyce opened her current boutique in South Queensferry, just outside Edinburgh. Moving from designer to curator, she now brings that same trained eye and creative instinct to selecting every piece in the store.

The boutique blends Scandinavian-inspired simplicity with a touch of personality and unexpected detail. Inside you’ll find relaxed silhouettes, soft textures, modern shapes, joyful prints and effortless pieces chosen to work beautifully for real life.

Our Approach to Sustainability
We choose brands who create responsibly and quietly. Many of our labels focus on lower-impact fabrics, thoughtful production and long-lasting quality without shouting about sustainability. It’s built into how they work — considered fabrics, small-batch manufacturing, recycled fibres and pieces designed to be worn and kept, not discarded.
Our collection reflects this ethos: well-made clothes that look good, feel good and stand the test of time.
A Destination Boutique
Customers visit us from South Queensferry, Edinburgh, across Scotland, the wider UK and beyond. The boutique has become known for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly, honest styling advice and a curated selection you won’t see everywhere.
It’s a welcoming space to slow down, try things on, explore new brands and rediscover the joy of dressing well.
Meet Bruno
Bruno is our resident shop dog and unofficial host. He greets customers with calm curiosity, keeps a relaxed eye on the boutique and brings a little extra warmth to the space. Many customers say he’s one of the reasons they love visiting — a gentle reminder that shopping should feel welcoming, friendly and enjoyable.
